Join the first session of the two-part series in scholarly publishing hosted by The Health Sciences Library: How to Get Published, on Monday, April 12th at 3:00 pm EST. David Parsons, from Elsevier Publishing, will introduce the basics of journal publishing, including how to get published successfully and overcome common challenges, tips and techniques for identifying the right journal to publish in, what editors and publishers are looking for, and understanding the peer review process. This introduction to publishing is open to all New York Medical College students, faculty, residents and staff.  Registration is required; both sessions of this series will be recorded for registrants.
